「Experience sharing」Common reasons for blockage of the electrode, how to avoid it?
1. Coordination of hands and feet
When the “AC40” series of electrodes are used for the cutting and stripping of the tonsils and the adenoids, the surgical video we provide can only see the operation field – the operation of the hand, and the synchronization of the feet is not synchronized.
Tonsil cutting and peeling:
Tonsil cutting and peeling:
Click on the yellow foot control board, that is, step on it (for 1~2 seconds), lift it up; step on the same 1~2 seconds and cut and peel along the tonsil film with the “AC40” series electrode, pay attention to stepping on the yellow foot control board. The duration should not be too long, otherwise the plasma will penetrate the membrane into the muscle layer and cause bleeding. On the other hand, the tapping of the plasma can not completely adhere the plasma vaporization to the electrode of the blade and the part of the tissue between the electrodes and the brine. After re-evaporation, it is easy to suck away from the suction passage to avoid complete blockage of the electrode.
Adenoid ablation
It is best to use the “AC40” adenoid body cutting special electrode, or the child-specific electrode “AC402”. The negative pressure suction hole in the center of the electrode is large and difficult to block.
Regardless of the type of electrode, it is necessary to avoid stepping on the yellow foot control board when the adenoid is cut. The duration of the control should not be too long. The tissue should be fully vaporized and sucked away from the vacuum suction passage in time. Repeated tapping can avoid the blockage electrode.
2. The pressure of vacuum suction is not enough
It is necessary to check whether the pressure value of the vacuum suction can reach 0.4~0.6 kPa.
